How It Works
The Invisalign Process at Giardina Orthodontics
Initial Consultation
We begin with a consultation to determine your specific orthodontic needs.
ITero Scan
A scan of your teeth is taken to create your customized aligners.
Customized Treatment Plan
Your scan and treatment plan are sent to Invisalign, which will create your series of aligners. Depending on your needs, this could range from 10 to 30 aligners.
Wearing Aligners
Each aligner is worn for about 2-3 weeks, except when eating, brushing, and flossing. As you progress through the series, your teeth will gradually move into their final positions.
Regular Check-ups
Office visits are scheduled approximately every 6-8 weeks to monitor your progress and provide new aligners as needed.
